In a telecom world ruled by smart phones, social networking sites & the incessant need to communicate, Kinetic Exhibit asks, “how have the words in our lives come to shape us?”

Patterns, Dreams & Withdrawal is a sensory reflection on the reciprocal relationship between communication and self-perception. In an honorary nod to African design, Kinetic Exhibit seeks experimental artists to help explore how everyday exchanges of idea(l)s, beliefs & labels pattern our behaviors and keep us locked into someone else’s dream.
