This an unofficial draft version of “Stonewaller”,  from the album ‘Delusions of Grandeur’.  The video was shot around the time we shot “BigBox”.

The premise is basically a guy, (Me) is stuck in the same frame of mind,  and tries to to get out of it by many means,  even faking it…  alas,  he cannot escape,  so with no alternative other than to fight back,  or in this,  rock out…  well,  see for yourself.  Really went for that broken encoded,  bumped down bootleg,  high school video project look,  against my sis’s wishes I think.   I was happy with it,  so that’s how it ended up…

An official video had also been shot,  but has never become ready for release.

Mable’s was interesting this time. Simply put, there were a few cut-outs in sound & lighting was a little dark, but it turned out a good number of people, which is always good for a benefit. We performed on behalf of a coalition of Texans looking to raise money for a local girls quest to be adopted by her aunt & uncle. Thanks to everyone who made it out. Shout out to Juicy the Emissary who performed as well, and Marissa for booking it. Here’s some very dark shots by Terry Gallagher.

I DJ’ed a set for my boy Matt, of the band SHUTTLE. They gave a smashing performance of futuristic disco & funk upstairs in the “lounge”. Though the headliners of the night, Spoonfed Tribe played a killer show downstairs on the main stage, there was no shortage of people suckling on the tit of eclectic vibes being provided upstairs. Denton band, Hatch, gave us jazzy/progrock & downtempo made of %100 improvisation, with titles provided by the crowd. One brilliant song called “Scarlet Moonlight/An Impatient Ape”, suggested by Travis Culp & myself closed the set. Thanks to everyone who made it out.
